Train and Kemp have recently been appointed by Durkan New Homes as their Structural and infrastructure engineer on this prestigious project.
The site is approximately 6.5Ha and is occupied at present by a number of listed military buildings built around the beginning of the Nineteenth Century, together with a Church.
The new development will consist of 300 to 350 residential units with 5,250ft2 of commercial space. The majority of the existing buildings are to be refurbished together with the construction of new residential blocks.
At present we are carrying out a survey of the existing buildings, detailing repairs required to the external brick and stone elevations.
Construction is due to commence autumn of 2007
