Train and Kemp approved by ICE
On 26 September 2006, the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) approved Train and Kemp's training scheme for graduates wishing to train as Chartered Civil Engineers.
Train and Kemp graduates can now register their training agreement with the ICE, ensuring that they undertake their Initial Professional Development in a structured manner that minimises the time required to complete this. This means that they can progress to their Professional Review by the fastest route availble under the Institution's various routes to becoming a Chartered Civil Engineer.
Victor Zasadski, one of the graduates who is registering his training said, "I very much welcome the new scheme as it gives me an opportunity to achieve my own career objectives as quickly as possible".
Norman Train will act as Supervising Civil Engineer for the Practice.
The successful outcome follows several months of developing the training scheme and a visit from an ICE Membership Development Officer.
The Practice hopes to gain approval of a cheme with the Institution of Structural Engineers in the near future.
