The Sir Bobby Robson Footbridge is a cable stayed bridge across the River Orwell in Ipswich. The bridge connects the Fairview New Homes redevelopment of the Comp-air site with the city centre and provides both pedestrian and cycleway links between the housing development and the Portman Road football stadium.
Practical completion has been given on the 60m structure which has allowed it to be opened for public use.
Train and Kemp acted as lead consultant and project manager for the design of the bridge.
